That was what the world’s No. 3 scribbled on the camera in a message to her sister.
Mari Osaka, 24, is also a professional tennis player, and she shed some light on the messages that were freaking her younger sister out.
Mari posted two images — that have since been removed — to her Instagram story. The first read, “To the people asking what i sent in the gc.” The second, which was captured by USA Today before being taken down, is indeed a disturbing shot of an eyeball getting licked (click through at your own risk).
Osaka takes on Jennifer Brady in the Australian Open final on Saturday (3:30 AM EST) looking for her fourth Grand Slam title.
